Yesterday was my first day back to work. It also was Bonnie's first day at daycare. Dropping her off was pretty tough but she didn't seem to mind at all. There was too much going on for her to be concerned about us leaving. Matt and I went to visit her at lunch time only to find her completely passed out in a bouncy seat. Her teacher said that she hadn't wanted to eat all morning so we decided it was best to wake her up to feed her. She had no trouble eating and by the time we left she was as happy as can be. We of course rushed to pick her up after work and found her cooing and smiling at her teacher. What a relief!
This morning the drop off was much quicker and less traumatic for Matt and I. We again went to visit her at lunch only to find that she had just eaten, pooped and was passed out in her crib. Her teacher said she hasn't had any trouble eating today, which is great news. Although it's only two days in, I'm going to go ahead and say daycare is a success!
