We had the anatomy ultrasound on Monday and found out that we are having a GIRL! It was not a surprise in the least but we are excited nonetheless. The baby was kicking and rolling around so much that it was hard to get any clear pictures but we did get a few. Here she is waving at us.
Everything looked good to us and based on the fact that I haven't gotten a call from the dr office I'm assuming they also think everything looks good.
We decided to tell Bonnie whether she was having a baby brother or baby sister by doing a gender reveal cake. Basically, you make a multi layered cake and replace part of the middle layer with colored candy. We tried to explain it beforehand to Bonnie but she didn't really make the connection between pink candy and a baby sister. The good news is that she seems pretty excited about the whole thing and thinks we should name the baby Luke!
