This is the first Halloween we've had in the house and we quickly learned that it's kind of a big deal around here. People have had their houses decorated for at least a month. We did not go that far but we did partake in some pumpkin carving. Come to find out we are pumpkin carving masters! I should mention that the designs were not solely our idea as we got them from a book but the carving skills were all ours.
My pumpkin was an owl on a tree branch.
Matt's pumpkin was a skeleton and a cat.
We couldn't leave out Zoe and Daisy. This was Daisy's.
And this was Zoe's.
We also took things a step further, at least for Daisy. Who could resist dressing her up especially when the costume is a bumble bee?? She was a big hit with tricker treaters and their parents alike!
