Rice Cereal

Bonnie had her 4 month check up on Tuesday. We've been having some concerns about her weight gain and those concerns were confirmed by the doctor. She weighed 12lb 7oz which put her in the 22nd percentile. Quite a difference from the 95th percentile she was at birth. Everything else growth wise was right on track and she has been hitting her milestones early so the doctor doesn't seem too worried. She suggested we try some rice cereal so we bought some and tried it out tonight.

We mixed it in her formula and she sucked it right down. Matt decided to document the after effects of Bonnie's first rice cereal experience.

Bonnie also got her first fever from the immunizations she had on Tuesday. When we dropped her off at daycare yesterday morning she felt a little warm but by lunch time she felt down right hot. I took her temperature and it was 100.8 so I took her home to wait out the fever. Luckily by the time we made it home the fever had already broken and was gone by bedtime. You would have never known she had a fever though because she was still her happy smiling giggling self. She's one tough baby!
