Apparently the government decided that I needed to take a couple weeks off of work, which I REALLY needed! We are currently on day 7 and a speedy return to work is not looking too promising at this point. Bonnie and I have been hanging out at home while our friends at D.C. figure out what they want to do. I made a list of "Furlough Activities" of things to get done around the house during my hiatus from work and have been making some good progress so all in all it's been a productive shutdown.
Bonnie's new favorite phrase is "what's that Mommy" which she asks constantly. If nothing else it's increasing her vocabulary by several words a day!
