We decided to join the bandwagon this year and bought an Elf on the Shelf. Matt and I really loved the creativity behind the elf and thought it would be something Bonnie would think was fun. Since we don't celebrate Christmas we have made a few alterations to our elf. Our elf is a winter elf and clearly doesn't report to Santa but other than that he still gets into the same crazy antics! Sarah also decided to do the elf this year and we were there when the kids were introduced to their elf. They decided to name theirs Jingle Jack so we decided to name ours, in keeping with the Jingle name, Jingle John.
His first night here and already creating trouble - it must have been a long journey for Jingle John to Colorado!
Not only a long journey but apparently a lonely journey too!
Crusing around his new digs.
Even elves need snack time.
Getting an aerial view of his surroundings.
Not Bonnie's Puffins, Jingle John!
Doing a little baking during the night.
Bonnie wasn't too sure about Jingle John at first and didn't like the fact she couldn't touch him. Now she thinks it's pretty fun to see what shenanigans he has gotten into over night. Mostly Matt and I get a kick out of coming up with new things for Jingle John to do every night!
