12 Week Check Up

I had my 12 week check up on Wednesday. I was technically 13 weeks but since my doctor is so busy it's when I could get in to see her. My doctor had some trouble finding the heart rate with the handheld Doppler so she brought in the big ultrasound machine. The baby was easy to find and was moving so much it was hard to get a good picture of it. Once my doctor caught it everything looked great and the heart rate was good and strong at 167 bpm.

The baby's head is on the left. The bright line on the bottom of the baby is its spine. I got to see its hands, legs and feet. It was a happy surprise!
While I was waiting (forever) to see the doctor I took a belly selfie. I already have a little belly!
