Matt has been working hard on getting his Bar application done. He's planning on finishing up some minor details and turning it in tomorrow (Yay). His paper for law review has gone through the final edits and has been sent off for publishing. I got a mention in it! In his thank you's Matt said "I would like to thank, first and foremost, my wife Lydia for her unwavering support and endless patience." Awesome. We've decide that since he gets 25 copies, which is certainly many more than we will ever need, we are going to burn one...for ceremonial and symbolic reasons. Living through the experience of having Matt's paper published has definitely made me NEVER want to get anything published. The only cool thing about it, other than now Matt is a published author, is that he can now quote himself!

Last Class
Today was Matt's last day of classes....forever! I still don't think that the reality of it all has really hit him yet. He got to pick up his graduation regalia today too. It kind of sucks but after your undergraduate degree you don't get to buy and keep your graduation robe...not like it would be something that we would on a regular basis but still a nice memento.

You can't tell from the picture but the sleeves on his robe have stripes of black velvet. He refused to take the hood out of the packaging and put it on, so we're just going to have to wait another couple of weeks to see him all done up!
