Attempt #2

After we finished painting our bedroom/bathroom a couple of weeks ago we decided we didn't like it. We ended up painting the bathroom the color the bedroom was and picked a darker color for the bedroom. Now, we are really happy with it!

This picture is taken from the bedroom looking into the bathroom. It was Matt's idea to leave the arch white and I think it turned out well!

We found this quilt after we decided on the darker color for the bedroom but before we actually painted. We think it looks great!

This weekend was the first weekend we've been in the house that we haven't painted. The thought of picking up a paint brush made us both groan so we figured it was a good time to take a break. Just because we took a break from painting doesn't mean we took a break from decorating the house. We bought a new coffee table, end table, and tv console.

Slowly but surely we're getting things unpacked and the house is really starting to feel like home! I think we are starting to feel a little more confident that someday we will have this house furnished and will actually be able to enjoy it!
