We had a visit today with a Perinatologist who performed an ultrasound to check on Baby's weight and overall size. Baby was chilling out in there but as usual wasn't a big fan of being poked. We got to see Baby trying to suck on its fingers and take a huge yawn which was super cute! The doctor estimated Baby's weight to be 4lb 11oz which she said was in the 50%-75% percentile. The heartbeat was 136 bpm, which is well within the normal range at this stage in development.
We didn't get too many clear profile pictures but we got a good picture of one of its hands, which put to rest the whole badger claws idea, well at least for one hand.
We didn't expect to get a 3D picture but how could you resist that face? I'm pretty sure I see the Davidson chin making an appearance too.
