We spent Memorial Day weekend in Atlanta visiting family. Bonnie got to meet lots of cousins and had a great time chasing them around. She also had a great time chasing my mom's cat, Newman, all over the house. He wasn't amused but ended up entertaining her for many hours! She cried and ran away after the first few times he hissed at her but by the time we left she thought it was hilarious. Poor Newman.
She cornered Newman under the dining room table many times but this was especially cute since she tried to offer him her bottle. He wasn't going to fall for it and just hissed at her.

We were lucky enough to meet up with all my cousins on Saturday at the zoo but missed them on Sunday at the aquarium. Instead of the aquarium we went to the Botanical Gardens which was great for Bonnie since she could run free. They had some really great sculptures on display, including an ogre, unicorn, rabbit, a goddess and strawberry.
The have a really great Children's area which was a big hit for Bonnie. She got to play in the sand and sit on cow brushing its teeth.
It's just not Memorial Day in Atlanta if you don't go swimming so we bought a little pool for Bonnie to splash around in. She wasn't real sure at first but ended up having a great time.
As with our other travel adventures, Bonnie did a great job. She slept the entire flight both times! We did have an unexpected 3 hour flight delay on our way to Atlanta but we were able to entertain her for most of it. Here's hoping our luck doesn't run out later this month when we head to Canada!
