There were of course several trips to Babies R Us. We had fun "testing" out a lot of the baby gear, but it's all fun until a decision has to be made which instantly makes things a little more difficult. My mom was insistent on buying the baby's crib so we spent a day shopping around until we found something that both Matt and I could agree on. We decided to go with a natural wood finish, figuring that would look good for either a girl's or boy's room.

We also finally decided on the baby's bedding. It's by Carter's and is called Bumble. It's really cute and it uber gender neutral. We think it will make a bright and cheery baby's room! The decorations for baby's room are almost decided on. We are about 95% sure that we are going to paint baby's room a light grey and put white wainscoting along the bottom.
My uncle and cousin came up to visit on Friday and had a great time with my mom coming up with the worst possible names for Baby Morrison. My mom is convinced its a boy so she wouldn't even entertain any girl names, which actually is fine because we already have a girl's name picked out. I think their favorite name was Copenhagen Whitehall Plantagenet Davidson-Morrison. We joked that the kid would never make it out of kindergarten because it would never know how to spell it's name! My cousin Celia came up with Osama bin Morrison. Has a certain ring to it but I think I want my child to be able to travel by air at some point during its life!
