Sassy Baby

We had our 24 week check-up last week and all is well. There isn't much to report as it wasn't really a long appointment. The doctor attempted to listen to the heartbeat and as usual baby squirmed away. On the third attempt the doctor pushed down harder and baby kicked so hard it knocked the Doppler off of my stomach and the doctor laughed and backed away. I have to agree with baby on this one - the doctor was warned at least twice and still wouldn't back off! Once she got a good listen the heartbeat it was 155 bpm, a little faster than usual but given the hostile environment pretty normal. Other than that it was neither confirmed or denied that baby has badger claws, so I guess we will continue to wait on that diagnosis.
