About a month ago Bonnie entered into the why phase. She constantly asks "why?" to pretty much every thing you say to her. In true toddler fashion, she continues to ask why after every single explanation you give her until eventually she's satisfied. Matt and I have accepted her challenge of answering as many of her "whys?" that we can. Here are some recent examples:
1. On 4th of July Bonnie asked Matt why we watch fireworks which turned into a lengthy discussion about Taxation without Representation.
2. Bonnie asked me why birds eat which turned into a discussion about the instinctual will to live.
3. Bonnie asked me why it was hot outside which turned into an explanation about the Earth's tilt and rotation. Actually you would be surprised by how many of Bonnie's questions end with the Earth's tilt and rotation.
4. Bonnie asked why Baby Sister was in my tummy which quickly ended with me changing the subject!
