Bonnie's 1st Week

Whew! We made it through the first week! Grandma Davidson came on Monday to help out and we surely needed the help. On Tuesday we had to take Bonnie to the doctor because she was acting super fussy all day and hadn't had any wet or dirty diapers. Turns out big girls need A LOT of food. The pediatrician recommended adding formula as a supplement to see if she could gain back any of the weight she had lost. That ended up being just the thing she needed because when the Nurse Practitioner came to the house to weigh her Friday she had gained back all of the weight she had lost.

Bonnie also got her first bath this week. She was not too happy about the whole situation.

We are slowly getting used to a baby in the house. There have certainly been some long nights but overall she's sleeping well.

Bonnie also got her first walk in this week. My incision was still pretty tender so it wasn't a long walk but I think she enjoyed the fresh air.

Although challenging at times we have really enjoyed our first week with our baby girl!
